First EPIGRAPHY workshop in Lisbon
16 January 2026
EPIGRAPHY held its first kick-off event in Lisbon from January 12–15, 2026. The program featured several excellent tutorials and talks on real-time inference, explainable AI, and model compression.
The first day focused on quantization techniques, with particular emphasis on FPGA hardware. The second day was dedicated to explainable AI and included an introduction to ASICs. The final day and a half explored opportunities for deploying real-time inference in experimental settings.
You can find the full workshop materials here.
Chris Brown gave a comprehensive introduction to FPGAs and the hls4ml transpiler, a library for deploying ML models on FPGAs.
